Troubleshooting

Start with what you see, check the likely causes, and know what to send support.

Find your symptom below. Keep the environment, application token, and time of the problem handy.

My API request returns 401

  1. Confirm that the API URL and credentials belong to the same environment.
  2. For the token request, send the existing API Signature as Authorization: Basic …. Do not base64-encode it again.
  3. For application requests, send Authorization: Bearer … with the access token, not the application token.
  4. Obtain a fresh access token and retry once. If that fails, ask your account manager to confirm the account permissions.

A browser redirect is not payment confirmation. See Postbacks.

The payment estimator is missing

  1. Replace YOUR_PUBLIC_ID with the Public ID from Resources in the merchant dashboard.
  2. Match the CDN URLs and Public ID to the same environment.
  3. Confirm the price selector matches a visible price and there is a matching estimate element for each product.
  4. Check the amount against the account's supported range. Boundary amounts may not display an estimate.
  5. Inspect blocked script/network requests and your Content-Security-Policy. If the store changes prices without reloading, initialize the estimator after the new prices are present.

Use the staging preview and installation builder.

PayTomorrow is missing from checkout

Open your platform guide and verify the payment method is enabled, the account is connected, and test mode matches your credentials. Confirm that the cart is eligible for the merchant's financing range. Contact support with the platform/version, cart amount, and a screenshot of the settings with credentials hidden.

The iframe is blank

Confirm you used the returned application URL without removing its query parameters. Allow the correct PayTomorrow environment in your site's frame-src policy and check the browser's network errors. Follow the iframe troubleshooting notes.

A settle, cancel, or refund request failed

Read current status before trying again. If the request timed out, the action may still have succeeded. Do not automatically repeat a financial mutation. For partial refunds, retain the old token for history and store the replacement token for future operations. If you cannot establish the outcome, contact support with the application token, action, and request time.
